Description

“Rhythm II” continues the idea of repetition established in ‘Rhythm I,’ yet here rhythm ceases to operate as a fluid surface and transforms into a more controlled, structural order. What becomes striking in this work is that the lines do not merely repeat themselves. Horizontal and vertical relationships interweave, carrying the surface toward an almost architectural organization. In this way, the line no longer functions solely as an element of direction; it becomes a system that measures space, divides emptiness into sections, and transforms rhythm into structure.

What gives the work its strength is the presence of a constant inner vibration beneath the apparent calmness of the surface. As the eye follows the lines, it moves continuously between order and deviation. The work therefore operates through a sense of movement embedded within silence
